The B2B buyer has already decided before you call
Two points carried the lecture. First: a large part of the buying decision has been made before the first sales contact happens, six to ten people decide on a single B2B deal, and cycles in the enterprise segment have grown longer. Second: keep it simple. Customers do not buy features, they buy outcomes, and the real test is whether the person you spoke to can retell it internally two weeks later.
